    Hello, she says shyly

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Dorothy Cooper, Mar 1, 2018.

    Hello Dear Writers,
I'm a newbie, with no books to my name, not even a short story, but I do have a conviction I cannot go on waking up each day telling myself, again, that I am going to write the book, then going to sleep that night knowing I didn't write the book! So here I am, hoping to listen and learn from those more experienced and wiser than I.
I am looking forward to meeting you all.

    Two rules:

    1. Editing is an essential skill for writers.
    2. You can't edit what you didn't write.

Hi there! I can't call me wiser nor smarter, but I can give you a single advice... do it. Even if it's just for you. Even if no one else's read it. I spent years on mind agony before writing a four paged tale... it's relieving to take it out from your head. After, you'll see if you want to go on or settle it. Hope to read you in the future.
