I think you have to use [media=youtubethelink then /media and close bracket I can't do it all the way or else it will post with nonsense so I hope you know what I mean. If you know what you are looking at find a post here that has a video and click reply, then you will see in between the quotes how to do it. (you don't actually have to put in a reply)
Well, yeah, but that might cause problems depending on where you're posting from. But when you're writing a post, there's all those hieroglyphics at the top for bold italic underline strikethrough and such. Towards the end of things (my desktop puts it in the second row) you'll see a little thing that looks like a couple of filmstrips. It's the third from the left here, after the smiley and the mountain with sun: If you use that function, it will give you the ability to embed video from Forum Approved Sites™, saving you the hassle of accidentally sharing something from, umm, PetHub... or whatever. When you click that button, a new window pops up and you just need to paste the link in there.
So I found one but I left out the beginning [ so it wouldn't post. Just add a [ in front of MEDIA MEDIA=youtube]0Fju9o8BVJ8
most of the time if you just post the url into the thread the forum software will do it automatically - with youtube - it doesnt work with facebook videos and not always with vimeo
You can write [plain][/plain] around something to prevent it from parsing:
