    Format help

Discussion in 'Revision and Editing' started by Dhramabee, Jun 10, 2016.

Hi folks, I'm looking for a little insight/thoughts, I am commencing a new book although not a picture book, it will contain images, how you would suggest I lay this out for a book proposal, in normal word format or something else?
Thanks in advance for your response :)))

Who will you be submitting the proposal to?

    If you're writing a proposal, I'm guessing it's non-fiction?

Yeah, non-fiction, top of my list at the moment is Hay House, Findhorn Press and Bloomsbury, although this may change.

Your best bet is to check each of their submission guidelines. I'm no expert, and I don't think there are any traditionally published non-fiction authors on this forum, but I'm under the impression a proposal wouldn't normally contain pictures.
