    Context of a paragraph?

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by stonecold, Apr 6, 2009.

I'm having problem understanding the word context compared to style, tone? Please help.

Context is about the meaning of something based on the words surrounding it in a paragraph.

Style is about the way you express something.

Marina described it perfectly. Context is the way in which something is meant. Style is the way in which it is expressed.
