You can test if a name is taken by typing it with the @ symbol in front, like this: @Deepwoods That didn't turn into a blue link, which means it isn't taken. Interesting to see if it does turn into a link if/when this becomes your name. Ok, it will of course. And I know, I missed the capital W, but it would have adjusted for that if it was already someone's name. As soon as you get a few letters typed, if there are similar names, they'll show up as suggestions.
sorted - you'll notice that xoics linking think only works at the point of writing so his link hasn't linked you.. but if i do it now @DeepWoods it does
