The same as non-telepathic, monoamorous human, I'd imagine. Some people read romance for the journey of falling in love (others, it may be the "being in love" part that entices them... or the sexual parts that they find interesting.) Telepathy is just another form of communication/expression. They can still say/think to the other persons how they are feeling. And even if they don't, they can still show it, cant they? And, even if they had multiple partners, they aren't going to treat them all the same way because i'd imagine their partners would have different personalities or would respond differently to the MC's expressions of love. I read a polyamorous romance once where it was 1 woman who fell in love with 3 different men. One man fulfilled her need for communication. He listened to her, he was romantic, he was good at conveying his feelings, good or bad. The 3rd guy was well cultured and fulfilled her intellectual needs. They could launch into a philosophical debate, they could go to art galleries, they could talk about values and morals. The last guy fulfilled her physical needs and was her idea of masculine (tall, stoic, a man of little words, someone to throw her down and get busy).
Unless you are changing the purpose of the literature they'd have, then i dont see it changing at all.
hehe, I use the term "romance" but it is very much on the spicier side of the genre, if you know what I mean If you are still interested, Spoiler: Its called... Deceived by the Gargoyles by Lillian Lark
