I’m Blue! I write sci-fi fantasy, and I’m going back to forums because traditional social media just isn’t working for me. Came here in particular because the research forum was incredible and the web design was friendly!
Welcome. I write science fiction with a blend of fantasy as well. What are your stories about, if you want to say?
Hey, welcome here among us. I've always preferred forums because it's more like a real informal discussion rather than little sound-bytes that get buried in a few minutes.
That's the real advantage of a forum like this. It's small enough that anyone has a voice no matter who they are. In social media, there's so many people, its very easy for your voice to get lost.
Heck yeah! I think I might be your opposite- I lean more Fantasy with a blend of sci-fi Well except for the one story that’s almost entirely sci-fi I’d call most of my stories Adventure stories, lots of running around defeating or befriending evil. Two main stories are just different types of political dramas/revolutions which I’ve only just realized now Lot of found family, lot of weird worldbuilding, lot of character driven stuff What do you write!
Haha the clip I think that’s what I sound like in real life when I’m introducing myself Yeah! I used to be on forums all the time, and then Instagram got to me. But then I stopped running a fan account, so it got boring over there again. Lots of nice art, which I love, but an awful algorithm. I’m so sick of algorithms!!
Befriending evil sounds interesting. Sounds like you have some nice stories. My stories are all set in the same world/universe where you can find everything from mortal humans, immortal humans, dragons, spaceships the size of stars, war, melee combat, and love. It's one big melting pot of ideas and concepts, just hoping it won't drown the readers. Edit: Also, your username, like Xoic, made me think of a video, link:
Ooo that sounds like a fun one! Long as you don’t get bogged down in exposition- I love a world with a lot going on myself, and plenty of other readers do too, so I’m sure they’ll love it Sometimes you need a melting pot of ideas to really play with I have a few different worlds! One of them has space whales that a certain faction hunts and turns into living ships Man I love that song too haha- it’s gonna be stuck in my head now
