@Cave Troll's a mean bitch and I don't care who hears me say it. Like me - to agree - or like @OSCAr's post above to super-agree. Like the post below and afterward of mine if you really, and really have an issue with @CT and his mean attitudes, and like all of @Flawed's post to come if you are raging like a maniac and cannot envisage anything more horrible than @Cavetroll if that is even his real name.

I turn 41 next week. I am not old, but I have several employess that were born after I started in the restaurant business. So I occasionally have to break out the old, "I've been doing this since before you were born" schtick, and THAT makes me feel old.

Saw George Carlin live at the old Warwick Musical Theater in 1998. That makes me feel old too.

I've just recalled the strangest dream from last night. I discovered a second spin-off film of The Likely Lads had been made and I'd not known for all these years. It wasn't written by Clement and Frenais and was no where near as funny as the original.

Ladies and gentlemen, if I ever interrupt the flow of my story with a huge historical info-dump about some political faction my characters are not a part of/don't know about, please throw my book across the room and ask me what I was drinking to think doing that was a good idea.

I'm reading Metro 2033 and, while it's a decent book so far, it spent about ten pages waxing lyrical about some neo-Soviet political group rising in the metros of Moscow (the setting of the series) all rallying around the remains of Red Square.

I fell asleep halfway through and skipped the whole thing. Look, it's cool and all to introduce different factions in your story, but there is a way to do it rather than making it feel like a history book! If I want to learn history, I'll go to my local museum or open an actual history book.

I bought this a couple of months ago as I've played all the game tie-ins and thought it was about time. Anyway I'm still to get started on it because I decided I was in the mood for something a little more cultured *

    * I chose Hemingway's To Have and Have Not and wish I hadn't.

Is life itself insanity? We keep doing the same thing, expecting a different result?

Maybe some good music can help you carry that heavy burden of being the only sane man in the universe.

    Here you are.
