    No

    I'm very confused

Edit: if you're asking for context for the screen shot, there is none

The only conversation proceeding it was her asking permission to bring me kittens and me saying something stupid in response

I'm very immature for my age

    ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

But also, it is a high security threat—the last time one of her kittens crawled on me, mewing, I cried & said yes to everything without thought to what anyone else was saying to me

It was a very dangerous time—I was highly vulnerable

But preventative measures will be taken this time

Have you ever experienced a jellybean kitten before?

Expecting the two litters of feral kittens has got me reminiscing & missing my last feral cat (in pedigree only—well, also in ferocity of hunting instinct, but otherwise fairly oddly affectionate)

Rhys was amazing on so many levels, and not just because he had four thumbs (yes, thumbs) which he occasionally used to turn door handles or get water from the dispenser

I learned this morning that Snoop Dogg and Wu Tang Clan use the same ASL interpreter to translate their lyrics on stage, which strikes me as hilarious, no offense to the hearing-impaired. The author of the blog post where I read it said that at long last he knows how to say 'motherfucker' with his fingers.

I had a dream last night about Great White sharks

There were at least two that were the size of killer whales

    It was a bit unsettling

Well my brain has taken up to messing with me.

Had a weird dream last night about being in highschool,
but instead of sneakers I had on red platforms.
And everybody made fun of me.

Not sure what my sub-con is trying to tell,
but it is really weird. o_O

IMG_0890.JPG The feral kittens have arrived

They're every bit as wild, fierce, and feisty as I'd come to expect

But they are far too young. The poor babies

So I got a bit drunk last night and messed around in the poetry section and found an entire community on here of members I'd never even heard of.

Not surprising, it's a very, very specialized skill set. I wonder how possible it is to translate something like rap, which uses a combination of rhythm, rhyme, and non-standard English to convey its messages, into a non-audio format.

Which also leads me to wonder, is there sign-language "slang"? I'm pretty sure there has to be, but what form would it take? Something like reversing right and left hands for a word, or crooking a finger in at a different angle than it should be, the way "aight" adjusts "all right"?

I don't know enough about sign to even know where to look, but I'm suddenly and randomly intrigued by the concept.

Anyone know the terrible Nicholas Cage Wicker Man remake? Here's "Not the bees techno remix" based off one of the most infamous moments of cage over-acting.

Apparently the translation is not about signing each distinct word, but instead signing the most prominent that get the overall meaning across.

Then usually from my experience the signer has a fluid rhythm to their movements that matches the melody or beat of the music.

I don't think rhymes or slang of "aight" usually enters into the equation because it isn't a word for word translation, but a representation of the attitude & meaning of lines.

I found this silly clip of a sign language rap battle on a late show.

You can see how each girl focuses on different things to sign (especially at the end, where they are all simultaneously signing the chorus)

Full Disclosure: I can't myself sign. I only know what little I do because my cousin Sachi is deaf & my aunt (not her mom) used to be a special needs teacher so I met a lot of deaf kids when I was young.

I'm just gonna make a wish, that is it, not all that important. :p
I wish to meet a good kind hearted woman. Give her bright and big eyes, and a brain to match. Also a healthy dose of tenderness, along with a fun fiery side. Not too picky on physique as long as she is femininely shaped. Thank you in advance to whom ever grants wishes. (sorry I am new at this, but I will thank you until the stars leave the sky, or until I die. Whichever eventuality comes first.) :)
Probably have better luck throwing a note in a bottle. :D

You meet her, but she's blind. Her blindness doesn't seem matter though, in fact it even seems to help, and you two hit it off great. That is, until she finally gets that surgery and sees you for the first time. It's not that she finds you unattractive, in fact its the opposite, you're just her type. Only you're so her type, that you look too much like her last boyfriend, and she can't get over how much you remind her of him. Sadly, regrettably, and with tears welling in her eyes, she ends it...

Alright, now its someone else's turn to do me.

I wish that I had some other reason to get out of bed in the morning besides breakfast.

Found one that got famous way back (Lose Yourself) and another I just watched (first without audio & second time with).

    It's actually all rather fascinating.

(And no, I haven't spent hours watching signing to various music for the past several hours, that would be obsessive or something probably. . .)

Also, I wonder if Sign Language has their own distinct visual poetry? Like instead of rhymes, it could be similarity of movements. And you could definitely still have rhythm. That would be really, really cool

This is starting to remind me of the the "Genie" game that I used to play on FetLife.

You are the genie that botches the last persons wish in some way, and then you make a
wish of your own, for the next person to do the same. (And on, and on, it goes). :p
