    Song lyrics in novel

Discussion in 'Research' started by ramedrake, Jul 11, 2011.

I have written a full length novel but it continues several instances where someone quotes songs. While all of these lyrics are nearly a hundred years old I am still curious whether this will be a legal problem, does anyone know the deal with quoting song lyrics?

If they're 100 years old, the copyright will have worn off and it'll have passed into fair use domain.
