    Writing Circle

Discussion in 'Research' started by Justin Rocket 2, Feb 19, 2016.

Does anyone know of where I can join an online writing circle which has weekly meetings to discuss each other's work? I'm interested in a group which has a specific time each week where we converse and brainstorm in real time over the Internet.

I have looked for just such a thing, and I can't seem to find one. It seems entirely possible, both a great idea, and easy to do, and yet if they are out there they are a closely guarded secret. Actually, I bet you thats it right there, there would be no way to keep a small group small if you advertised.

Let's go ahead and make one, then.
I guess the first thing would be to get a platform (software to run a real time meeting). Any suggestions?

Hmmm...well there are the video chat options that let you have multiple people in them, or there is the chaotic fun of all being on a shared document on Google.

I like the video chat option if there is something free.

Skype can accommodate up to 10 people on video conferencing, 25 on audio only and it's free.
