Teaching my 2.5 year old granddaughter new words and watching her spring them on mom and dad. Latest term came when she protested hanging upside down while playing. I taught her to say, "I don't like inversion." Last weekend's term for a scrape on her knee: "Abrasion boo-boo." I did not, however, teach her to say, "F***ing cat." That's what her mom says every time the cat runs past her and out the door.
