So plenty of authors put little shout outs in their work, sometimes to their inspiration or friends. Well I think that you guys have been the most help when it comes to writing my book so I thought it'd be nice to give some of you a brief reference as a thank you, which hopefully you'll one day be able to read. My characters will be visiting a city during their travels which is rather like a fantasy version of Cambridge - the intellectual centre of the Kingdom in my story - and there may be a writers guild. If anyone wants a brief mention say so and I'll try and work something in where it fits.
meaning what?... you seem to be referring to something other than a mention in the 'acknowledgements' but i'm not up on what 'a shout out' means in 'american english'... it's a nice offer, regardless...
