Hey, I'm an American writer interested in fantasy and myths. I usually write flash fiction and poetry, along with the occasional short story. My writing style is very nontraditional and very deeply rooted in my research into different mythologies. I am currently working on a story that is a sort of a narrative compendium of the Otherside (the world of the Fair Folk) and how they are connected to all stories.

Welcome! That story sounds tantalizing! Mythology is always fun because there’s never a shortage of people willing to debate the actual facts of mythical fiction.

Welcome, Kitsune Tales! :) I'd heard of Kitsune before and I was curious, so I did a quick google and found this:

Are you into Japanese myth, by any strange coincidence? I'm more curious now, because for the past six-seven years, I've been writing a blend of historical fiction and (relevant) mythology. (By "relevant", I mean relevant to the story's setting; if a story is set in ancient Greece, there might be a dollop of Greek myth, etc.) So, I educated myself in Greco-Roman, Egyptian, Irish and Norse mythology. But Chinese and Japanese mythology are new to me, and they sound intriguing.

Anyway, all this is by the by. Welcome again. :)
