I was completely unsure how to write about this, so this introduction will be a little messy. My name is Maple. I have been writing for about 6 years, or, took it seriously about 4 years ago. Embarrassingly enough, I haven't read actual books instead of fanfiction until last year. @_@ It's been going pretty well, I still read fanfics, however. LOL I've been writing a project of my own for about a year and am currently looking forward to writing my visual novel this year. The genres I love reading and writing are psychological dramas, and slice-of-life, too. I have little to no experience with forums, so this is really new for me. :'3
Hey Maple, I can't much in the realm of fanfiction work as I never got into the area of writing myself. Since you have got into reading books in the last year, you're in for a real treat for how many good books that exist in each genre. I have read many books in the psychological horror genre and enjoyed them myself, though my writing strength comes closer to fantasy and sci-fi, though I do have one book idea within the horror genre I'd like to see completed.
