Anyone watching? Who are you rooting for? I don't know who to support since USA didn't make it in this year, lol. But dang, if Mexico keeps playing like they did against Germany, they might keep on moving up! I have to get all my updates via the internet since we cut cable to reduce bills, but it's still fun to follow along.
I have been, I have watched, listened to or had on the TV whilst I work, every game so far. It is a bit much but it only happens every 4 years, so..... there ya go! Obviously routing for England, but I think we'll be knocked out in the quarter finals, if we get past the last 16... Apparently we're likely to face Germany or Brazil... although Brazil haven't been that good this tournament.
Well we got streaming from ROKU with DirectTVnow and can see reruns but not the live games they had advertised. We cut cable too to save money, and dropped wifi in favor of hotspots to save more. Some glitches on streaming but a lot more affordable. As to the teams remaining, it is hard to pick any that I like more than the others.
Kind of hope it's a France-England final. I think it would be a more entertaining match than France-Croatia, plus there'd be so many great Napoleonic Wars jokes to be made. Although Croatia are now up 2-1 so that's not looking very likely...
I think it's nice that Croatia made it in. I mean... Croatia! One of the top two teams in the world in one of the world's most popular sports! Good for them. (Only 4 million people in Croatia, apparently. Damn... they beat the odds.)
