So my book is around ~300 pages of color, and it's going to cost way too much money to print on demand. I've been in contact with a supplier on Alibaba, and I can make the book for much cheaper and a similar quality. That said, is it possible to merge a KDP listing with a non-KDP listing? I'll have all the same meta-data and what not, but would love to know if I can do this to avoid pricing a $40+ book... Also, in a similar vein, if I do black and white (B&W) through print on demand, but the color through Alibaba, will all my books link? In other words, will my eBook, paperback B&W, paperback color, hardcover B&W, and hardcover color all synch? I bought 10 ISBNs so far and have them mapped to eBook, paperback, and hardcover. Not sure if I need to add additional ISBNs for color vs B&W too... Any guidance on these topics would be much appreciated. Thank you!
