Hiii! I was looking around for a writing community to get involved in so that I can improve my talents as a writer and expose myself to other people's work. This year I've started on a writing project (the first one I've stuck to for longer than 2 months) that I hope will eventually result in a publication, so I guess that now is a pretty good time to get involved. Of course, that's not my only reason for being here. My experiences in real life have shown me that people who have a passion for writing are generally pretty cool folks So yeah, here I am!

Welcome, Lindsay ! Yes, writers do tend to be an interesting bunch, don't they ? I'm new here, too. Looks like a nice place to be. I'm also a novice, so I'm not familiar with "writers' etiquette", if there's such a thing, but would it be ok to ask what your writing is about ?
