Hi! I seem to have tripped over this community this morning, and it looks like it might be just what I've been looking for for a while. I've been writing fictional snippets in my journal / sides of notebooks / whatever paper is available since I was a teenager, but it's almost all been mostly for myself. While I studied classical literature in school, I didn't take any composition or creative writing classes -- just literary analysis. I've toyed with the idea of fleshing out what I've got in my journals from time to time. The content is mostly related snippets and ideas of trajectories into full novels. I also want to spend more time refining some skills rather than simply brain dumping onto pages that never get revisited. The boards under The Writing Process look really appealing to me. I just want to get better at what I'm doing for now, but I'd love to pick up some bigger dreams along the way.
