Hi everyone. I'm really happy to be included in this Writing Forum. My main interest is in Urban Fantasy with one book out there that was self-published. Struggling with the follow up novels! (3) But i also have an interest in writing poetry and short stories... they're not good. Usually, what I call, a way to let off steam; a way to feel that I'm doing something constructive while i struggle with completing the second novel. So... with your permission, it'll be those i'll be peddling.
Congrats on the publication of your first novel. Follow-ups are tough, especially in maintaining momentum. Have you considered keeping a Progress Journal? I find this helps. https://www.writingforums.org/progress-journals/ to record progress etc. I love writing poetry ... but mine sucks. Poetry, for me, is also a good way to let off steam and express my pent-up emotion, especially when I am feeling sad.
