Is this word used correctly in this sentence?

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by S7U4R7, Feb 28, 2010.

Hi I'm new here and sorry if this is the wrong part of the forum.
The hospital was an endless labyrinth of identical looking corridors, each with two doors either side.

Is labyrinth used correctly in the sentence?
    Thanks

*Also, this is in Scottish English if it makes a difference*

'labyrinth' is used correctly. I think the 'endless' is unnecessary here, though. And the 'each with two doors either side.' just looked messy and too much information. I suggest rewording.
