    Deather or Coma

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Leaka, Jun 5, 2009.

Sorta inspired by the Dash or Comma thread. In the sense I keep misreading it as Death or Coma.
So let's say you got into a terrible accident. And you're body was in a terrible fate.
From this accident would you rather your mind and body die or go into a coma?

I'm just sayin', Leaka, it's a gloomy subject. Pfizer holds most of the patents on things one can take to get rid of the gloom.

el oh el at all this confusion...

I would pick death. Sure, there's hope when you're in a coma, but I don't like the picture of Joel just sitting by my bed, day after day, hoping that one day I might wake up. It's sad. Not that me dying isn't sad...but I could haunt him if I were dead. Or something.

seems a moot question to me... there's no way i'd choose staying in a coma over death... i don't see why anyone would...

Depends if my coma would be like Life on Mars (the UK version, not the US atrocity).

I think I'd choose coma. Cause when blood supply is temporally cut off to the brain your brain goes into a state of hallucination...and that is how Near Death Experiences happen. You're just seeing a dream your brain gives you.
    So Coma would be cool.

    @Wrey: I don't need anti-depressants

@Cogito: Morbid seems to be the only thing on my brain tee hee.

Death, without a doubt. I don't need to be hogging hospital beds, and being a constant burden for my family and friends. Life ends one way or another, sooner or later.
Of course, I believe in an after-life so death holds no fear for me, I'm only afraid of pain.

But I'm really happy about it. If I was depressed I'd be crying about it.
    I'm a freak with a smile.

Yeah. I'm not a sad depressed person.
    It's obvious I'm a happy depressed person.

The light in the tunnel is the brain's blue screen. It says nothing about what exists after the power is off for good.

The brain just goes into a way to relax the whole body.
A mind wtf moment as the lights go out.

I had a dream about seven years ago that I shot myself in the head. There was a bright burst of light, narrowing down to a tiny point, then nothing. Just blackness.

    Creepy much!
