Hey, I don't know about sites for it, but a verb is basically any word that shows WHAT is being done...words like run, sit, walk, be (is/was etc), show, tell, like, eat etc. Hope that helps any!

A verb explains what someone or something does: runs, eats, flows, is, says, catches, faints, and so on. There's really not much more to it. If you have a more specific question about what you don't understand, I'll try to answer.

The easiest test for a verb: you can put "to" in front of it. To run, to play, to sing, to do, to be ("or not to be")...

If you use "to be (verb)ing" for continuous tense and just "to (verb)" for simple.
