    Anyone ever read Modern Fiction?

Discussion in 'Discussion of Published Works' started by sophia_esteed, Sep 11, 2008.

Virginia Woolf's essay on modern fiction is one of the text I have to study for Contemporary English Lit. exam at university, which I'm gonna try in January.
When I looked for resources on how to interpret it on the Internet I found about nothing.
So I was curious: has anyone read it? What do you think about it?
And do you know of any websites that might be related to it?
Since this is a writing forum it seemed the most appropriate place to ask.

I do! I am currently reading "The Tenderness Of Wolves" by Stef Penney.

It won the 2006 Costa book prize (a good recommendation i am told :)) and is so far (170 pages in) a very exciting read.
