At the risk of sounding predictable....

It means a thread that you've posted on or are watching has a new response.

Whether or not you watch a thread in Xenforo is an opt-out, not opt-in dynamic. If you start a thread or comment in one, you automatically watch that thread. It can be nice to keep track of the threads in which you've participated, but after a while the threads start to accumulate and your alerts become overloaded with notices concerning topics you've exhausted. You can turn off that automatic watching if you want. Just hover your cursor over your badge in the upper right and follow the numbers. ;)

    Not entirely true.

Glasses = "You are watching this thread" / "You will be notified by email and/or in-forum alert when this thread has new replies".

Bold text = "This thread has unread posts"

    Thanks

I did not think the first could be right as it has 0 responses

I was worried it meant I was on a warning or something

Warnings come as a conversation (aka private message)... far as I know you've done nothing warning worthy
