I'm working on an idea with a possible partner for a webcomic. Its takes place in a world where the best gunslingers in the world travel to Texas for the biggest gun tournament ever known! We just can't seem to decide whether it should be an alternate history, where Texas never joined the U.S., or if it should be somewhat post-apocalyptic where Texas has seceded and become independent again.
If the gun tournament includes the shooting of living targets, a post-apocalyptic Texas might make more sense. Otherwise - yeah, you've got to decide on your own.
