Hello, Somehow, I ended up on the .com and saw that they have a RPG forum and I loved to do written roleplay back in the day. So, I was wondering if a Roleplay forum could be added to the entertainment/lounge forum. Or, if I am allowed to post a written Roleplay Game there. Thank you, Gravy
There's already something like that, though it hasn't got any activity in maybe a few years. I'm not sure where it is or what it's called though? Anybody know?
I see 'word games' but written roleplay is very different. If I was to make a Star Wars Roleplay game, then we would all pick characters and write a story together. Like, I'd write Luke and you write Han. And so it's different than word games as it's a collaborative original or fanfic piece.
We used to have one, we turned it off after mingo stopped active modding, but to be honest it had been dead for a while despite Mingo's best efforts... reason being that the previous mod who was responsible for it Kingtype, was actively down talking the thing he should have been promoting to siphon players off to games he was running on RP nation...that act of disloyalty got him banned when it came to light If there was strong community interest we could bring it back as its only hidden not deleted but it would need someone to volunteer to be the RP mini-mod as none of the main mods are that interested in it
Thank you for your reply. I am sad to hear that you used to have one. Please put me down as interested in both the forum and being a 'mini-mod' if you would care to consider me. I really love written roleplays and it's honestly how I honed my writing skills. Anyway, maybe a poll for interest could happen sometime. Because I am sure there are others interested.

OMG! You're the best, Moose. Thank you SO MUCH! I will look at it and my mind is already trying to figure out what genre of roleplay to post. (Please give me a day or so to figure it out.) I hope this works well for all of us. Also, yes! An announcement would be good. I will let you know once I have figured out what the first roleplay will be. Also, are the rules going to stay the same? Do I need to post in the Kickstarter? Or are you thinking of starting from scratch? And okay. I got it. I have a genre/plot premise. Let me smooth it out. Sneak Preview: Vampires! Everyone likes Vampires. We can also add in other creatures, too. Like werewolves and ghosts.
You don't have to post in the kick starter... just create one thread for in character role play in the main board, and a corresponding one for out of character discussion in the sub forum for discussions... then after we've clicked approve and the threads have posted i'll do an announcement and we can see what happens
I made the post in the Out of Character discussion. It's not perfect, but it's a start. Could I please have permission to post in the main roleplay section? Also, if you want, you can look over what I wrote. I hope the rules are to the mods liking and I would love if you made an announcement.

Weird, but you posted in the sub forum no problem - how strange, i'll investigate. eta: I think i fixed it, the tick box to allow new messages to be posted wasn't ticked... let me know if it works now... if not i'll archive the old forum and start a new board
