And a 1000 e-books really isn't that high of a threshold... unless they mean just through B&N online.

 

Yeah, if it is overall eBook sales that's not bad at all. If just B&N online it's a different story.

 

I wonder if they're looking at print runs or POD. Committing to a print run, even a small one, is a big step...

 

They're talking about actual shelf space, so not POD. That's pretty cool. Devil is always in the details.

 

Well, you can put POD books on shelves...

 

Returns for unsold copies could be an expensive issue for self-published authors.
