    Print Hardback options

Discussion in 'Self-Publishing' started by The Piper, Sep 4, 2020.

    Hi everyone,

So, I've already published my first collection through KDP and it's done a lot better than I thought. Second one coming Halloween to the same platform.

I know that KDP allows me to keep all the rights to the actual copyright of both books, but would it allow me to: publish (again, independent) a hardback edition of both collections together, with the only difference being the cover, the fact they're all in one rather than two paperbacks, and that each story would have a full-page, full-colour illustration. There might also be an exclusive story or two in there.

As far as I know, I can publish different editions of the same book through Amazon - but obviously KDP don't do hardbacks, and that's what I'm really after so I'd have to go for another platform.

Anyone know if this is possible, or any advice? Thanks in advance

You can go to Ingram Spark which does do hardback and will also let you sell through Amazon.
