    Skybleed

Discussion in 'Blurb Critique' started by Christopher Lycan, Feb 2, 2024.

After an untimely death, a government workers brain is put inside of a jar filled to the brim with truth serum byproduct from the creation of the Hydrogen Bomb, this truth serum is charged with wifi readouts modelling the entire universe, even through Army dreams of wires that span to the center of the universe, a pit of "nuclear chaos". Unravel Mysteries as the sky begins to bleed, and the psychology of the government is unravelled in an Alphabetic manner that leads to Zygote, the process of a individual cell organism recursively crafting itself into a full morphic humanlike being.

This text, like your introduction post, lacks clarity. Meaning is lost in trying to understand the way you write. This may just be me though, but I have a difficult time following your texts.

The text makes me question some things you state, such as a truth serum being a by-product of the creation of the Hydrogen Bomb. What do you mean by that? And how?

Your first sentence is very long and could be broken up into smaller sentences. If this is the way you write throughout the book, then it would be a very difficult read. Your second sentence suffers from the same issue.

You have some interesting ideas, if I understood them right. Such as a sky bleeding and wires that span to the center of the universe. Those wires might be very long and require quite a bit of matter and engineering.

Rather than captivating me and making me more interested in your blurb/book, the text leaves me more confused.

Hope this helps. No harm intended. This is my first blurb critique.
