    Dream sequence

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by ANT (Bar YOSEF), Jan 22, 2008.

Im wondering how to write a good dream sequence that either has a link to the past or a prophetic dream. Would it be cliche to feature the charcter at the end before they jolt awake?

anything can work well, if it's written well... and nothing will, if it's not...

including a dream at all, is cliche... but even cliches can be done so well that no one will mind... so, the bottom line answer to your dilemma is to write whatever you decide to do, so well that it works... and we can't tell you if it does, till we see it...
