Hi, can anyone chime in here and give me a different way to start this sentence: "Did my small part to …" "In my own small way …" "Even on such a small scale …" All of which, for whatever reason, don't quite do it for me. Yet can't think of anything else. I'd appreciate anything you can offer up. Thank you in advance. —Jackson
Happy to help...? Can I maybe have a little more of the sentence so I know what fits? Then I could help properly.
Are you trying to minimize somebody's role in a failure, or have them try to claim some credit for a success? What's the motivation for making the statement?
Hi, sorry, to clarify, it's something positive. I don't have the second half of the sentence yet, but it would be something like: "Did his small part to change people's preconceived notions of …" Thanks.
"Did his small part to change people's preconceived notions of …" "Played his small role in changing people's preconceived notions of..."
