Procedures, jargon, culture at Porton Down in the 50s

Discussion in 'Research' started by Neo, Jan 14, 2017.

I'd like to know more about the kinds of procedures that microbiologists would have had to adhere to at facilities such as Porton Down during the 1950s. Also I would like to know more about the kinds of jargon and culture that existed at the time in that industry.

I'm setting the initial chapters of a book at a breakaway unit from porton Down so I only really need basics to cover the material.

By coincidence I watched this the other week; quite revealing. If you're not from the UK @Neo you may need to follow the white rabbit and use a proxy.
