Hi y'all. I was just thinking of a story I read about Neil Gaiman. He desperately needed writing jobs to make ends meet, all those years ago when he was an unknown. So when he interviewed for various writing jobs, he would impress the interviewer with tales of all the famous editors he had worked with. Which was all good and well--except he hadn't worked with any of them. I've also heard tales of Harlan Ellison being physically thrown out of an agent's office when he wouldn't take no for an answer. So I'm just wondering, what crazy things have you done for writing? What stories have you heard?
