There is this book that I remember reading and cannot remember what it is called and or what the cover looks likes. I only remember that it takes place in a boys boarding school and there was a specific group of boys practicing Satanism just for the fun of it, except for one boy who was doing it for real and ends up killing people and I think the Satanist boy dies himself. And I have a feeling that it had gay overtones. Would anyone know the book?
Lord of the Flies by William Golding? Hmm. Maybe not. Those boarding school boys were shot down over an island so it didn't take place in the boarding school. I'm surprised I recalled that much. It was required reading in 10th grade. I hated it and never reread it.
Couple things: Around when do you remember reading it(year)? What level was it (children, YA, Adult)?
Only thing that I can think of is 'The Chocolate War' and the sequel but that doesn't quite fit. It may help to indicate when you read it and when you think it was first published.
