    WattPad, Inkpop and similar sites

Discussion in 'Writing Software and Hardware' started by Mr Mr, Dec 29, 2011.

I just wondered if anybody uses or is on these sorts of sites. I myself use wattpad but it seems to be dominated by vampire obsessed, hormonal twelve year old girls. Despite this there is the occasional gem of a story. I haven't posted anything to Inkpop but it seems to have better quality literature than Wattpad.
(this wasn't intended to sound like a rant so don't mistake it for one)

So does anyone else use these sites or similar?

I recently came across a site called Issuu which has a brilliant reading app thingy that puts the story into a book-like format where you can turn the pages and everything. It's quite good to read in that format, and you can bookmark specific pages on your browser if you don't want to just remember which page you're at.

I just went to Issuu and Inkpop and couldn't figure out where anything was.

With Issuu, it's better if you've actually got the link directly to the book, I think. It's very good for reading stuff on. I admit the site navigation isn't spectacular.
