    Unnamed Robot Humanoid movie

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by Temar Davis, Aug 21, 2021.

So I'm came up with a idea for a new sci-fi movie. It's about a ruthless humanoid bounty hunter who's unaware that her ruthless nature is doing more harm than good. I got the MC on point, now I need help with the plot. So later in the movie, she gets trapped in a universe that didn't discover electricity yet. I need a scenario where the MC gets trapped there in the first place. Any tips anyone?

Check out Army of Darkness where he finds something rare to transport him to the past. Or maybe Land of the Lost 2009, where there is a cave with a special mineral that transports them to another universe. You could also go with the Planet of the Apes scenario, where she escapes in a pod and gets sucked in with the bounty hunter on her trail. As far as the internal conflict with the humanoid bounty hunter goes, you can fuse the main frame from IRobot with the logic of the computer playing chess in War Games, in like some super coincidental programming morality bug, which was caused by a jolt from the Black Hole .

The most obvious way would be to tie it to the MC's career as a bounty hunter. Maybe they're looking for someone who's hiding out in the past, or they get sucked back by a trap. There are plenty of interesting variations you could make on the basic idea.
