I'm not sure where I should post this, but I noted that the Roleplay and the Resources section in the right-column shortcuts on the homepage are missing. I think this is intentional (because of the promotion of the member-publications at the top?). I can only speak for the resources-section: I am one who on and off posted resources. However, if they are not visible to the community (get buried effectively), I am not sure if I should post them. What would be the benefit if no one sees them? The resources section as it was, was not very well visible/attended. This shortcut-removal cut it even further. Thoughts?
The Workshop, Resources and Role-Play were all sections that disappeared from the sidebar when @Daniel added the Member Publications box, but I don't know if this was intentional or not. Let's hope he sees this thread and enlightens us on the matter. The visibility of various sections of the forum (e.g. Resources and the contests) has been discussed a lot. There are many suggestions on how to improve the visibility of them, but they haven't really been decided on yet.
One thing that has slipped, that might be really important to keep top of the sidebar, is the request for donations. I only just noticed it today. I always donate, but this request almost got past me. And there are only 12 days left, apparently. Unlike per usual, we seem to be a long way off our monthly goal. If I were @Daniel , I'd bring that up to the top of the sidebar again. The member promotions with the photos will still be eye-catching, if they are dropped slightly below. But it's important that the fundraiser isn't 'lost' in the visual noise.
