Hey I was just wondering if anyone could recommend any books that aren't at all predictable. I seem to be able to predict the endings of pretty much every book I pick up at the moment and it's a little frustrating. Might be because I tend to read fantasy/sci fi and romance normally. But yeah anything anyone could recommend would be good. Thanks
Try Best Served Cold, by Joe Abercrombie. Fantasy book. Gritty and dark. I thought it was a nice change of pace from much of what is out there in terms of Fantasy.
I just recommended this book to someone yesterday, but one that I like is "7 Steps to Midnight" by Richard Matheson. It's a really exciting and fun book to read, and it's one of those books where you honestly don't want to put it down. I didn't see the ending coming at all. The author had stacked the deck so much I just wasn't sure what was going on.
Thanks very much guys - think I'll take a trip to the library/waterstones tomorrow and see if I can pick up any of those suggestions
Also, if you like Fantasy, I suggest Game of Thrones by George R R Martin (and the sequels) because I'm in the fourth book and so far I've been unable to predict most of the things that have happened XD I love this series
