I was nostalgia-ing a bit earlier and was thinking about all these books that I'd read when I was very, very smol. My parents bought me a few of these, and we also took out a bunch from the library (at the elementary school as well as in the city). Love You Forever sure hits hard, but I always liked the funnier ones. Mud Puddle is great, and Mortimer is a classic, but if I had to choose a favourite without overthinking it, I'd go with:
I think I've only ever read Paper Bag Princess. I think I know what I'm going to do for my nephew's little library now though. Thank you for reminding me of this author's books!
