Hi, everyone. My name is Scott, and I've been writing for a while, but just decided tonight to find a place to chat with fellow writers. It's kind of hard for me to say exactly what I write, because I tend to have multiple projects going on at once, and I write a lot of different genres. I have a blog where I primarily write about hockey history-related topics, but I've made a couple of posts there dealing with other things as well. I've written some hockey-related fiction, I have a young detective character that I've written some mini-mysteries with that allow the reader to try to solve the case before she explains her solution and have a full-length novel featuring her in progress. I've written some short stories featuring a Time Lord character that I created, since I'm a big fan of Doctor Who (he's the inspiration for my user name), and I've dabbled in some fantasy ideas as well. I also have interest in writing about certain types of historical non-fiction, particularly the hockey history that I've talked about as well as political history. Anyway, for various reasons, I tend to have a hard time keeping motivation to write, despite how much I love to do it, and I'm hoping that joining here will help me maintain that better as well as give me a place to exchange ideas.
