does music play a role in your stories?

In other words how does it conjure up sound when it comes
    to story telling?

    Not yet no.

I haven't married writing with music in that sense yet.

I almost always write with some kind of theme music or inspirational ambient music in the background.

I don't depend on music for inspiration, however, I do remember composing poetry while certain music played in the backround. Since music elicits emotion, I am sure that it did have an effect on the poem's final form and content.

I don't think I can write with out it. :)
Though in the first book, there is a
Rave type deal in the ships cantina
    that was playing music. :D
