    Hi

    Hi I'm Snooky ^^

I'm in my twenties and have been writing since I was like 9. I started fiction fantasy a few years back and have been throwing a few ideas around now for a while, I'm hoping to publish a book in the next 3 years if possible... If I can ever finish what I start! I must have hundreds of projects which I get 80% done and then I lose drive and move to something new lol XD

When I'm not writing I'm listening to music, reading, watching Disney...

    Nice to meet you :)

Welcome, @Snooky! You sound like me in my twenties with the stack of unfinished projects. I even got so discouraged, I quit writing for almost a decade. When I decided to come back to it, I did my research. I read books and blogs, I joined this here writers forum and I sat down and wrote a whole book. I'm now about 80% of the way through book two. My point being, the tendency to abandon projects for newer and more enticing ideas is very common but not insurmountable. Use available resources, including this fantastic forum, and try a new approach. Personally, The Stephen King book On Writing: A Memoir on the Craft was a big help in coming up with the battle plan that finally produced an entire novel after all these years.

Anyway, I hope you find a way to turn all those great ideas and unfinished projects into completed pieces, and I hope you have fun on WF!

    Welcome
I am sixty seven, was diagnosed at ten with ADHD. I was never told or treated for it. I pieced it together from an incredibly fractured, though interesting, life. Also a prominent memory of being tested by an elementary school principal. This sounds a little like that. Don't feel bad. Everyone has it to a certain extent. Some of us have enough of it to inspire some interesting stories. Mine are more general stories and satire about life's absurdities.

Welcome Snooky. Sounds like you are moving on when you get to the climax of the story, which should be thr most interesting part.

    Hi snooky,
Welcome to our forums. Maybe it will encourage you to pursue your writing a little more and complete one or two of those unfinished projects you started. What’s your favourite Disney movie? The Little Mermaid is being remade into film and I hear it’s out now. :agreed:
