Hello

I'm fairly new here. I really love the atmosphere and the willingness for people to read and critique other people material.

Today makes my 2nd week here and I've been reading and giving feedback on other's pieces, I'm wondering why I still cannot post in the workshop though?

 

The rule is you have to give 2 critiques, for every piece you post for a critique. It is in the
rules outlined in the PM you get when you join.

 

I've posted several critiques so far. Thank you for the help though.

Welcome aboard, @Rahl! I have been on this site for about two years now, and it has been very helpful for me, especially since I am an engineer and former naval aviator, not a writer by trade!

 

I really enjoy it so far. I'm glad to be a part of the community.

 

what is a critique? sorry if my vocab is not up to par

 

A critique is an analysis of another persons writing, and opinions in detail.
