Yel low, I'm Kevin. Hope you're all writing away, beating the blank page. I s'pose I'll introduce myself, I've been writing songs for years, and I've dabbled in poetry the odd time. I've always wanted to write fiction too, but being a big silly goose procrastinator, I've only put pen to paper this time last year. I'm working on writing short stories for publication in magazines, newspaper, radio - whoever will take them! I want ot build up my credentials and eventually publish a short story collection and a novel through a traditional pubisher. That's the dream anyway. If I get an idea I find interesting I just run with it and see what happens, so far they've largely been phsycological, supernatural, or thrillers. Anyway, I'm looking forward to read, write and hopefully learn plenty. Thanks for reading
Hi Kevin Welcome to the forum. We run regular contests over here in poetry, short story and flash fiction so you can always give that a go and see how the members over here would rate your work. If you’re looking for critique there’s the workshop but don’t forget to return 2 critiques before you submit your own for reviews. You can also take part in various discussions over multiple topics. The debate forums gets pretty heated though. Sometimes. Also I’m assuming yellow is your favourite colour?
