I already welcomed you elsewhere (with some tasty lettuce and carrots) but I should do it here on your official intro thread as well.

Welcome to our humble online home! Looking forward to seeing your work.

    Hi.

I was asked to follow the white rabbit.

Then I saw your post and thought I’d pop in to say hi.

    ha ha.

I was thinking more along the lines of Neo from the Matrix but that’ll do.

    Welcome!

It's evasive prose far from the Wachowsky trilogy
In the end, Carl Lewis passed Caroll and Alice. The white rabbit who thought he was a hare was beaten by the turtle.

If the rabbit thought he was a hare, perhaps the turtle thought he was a tortoise (is there a difference I wonder?)

The difference is that the rabbit and the hare, it's the same story as the donkey who dreamed of becoming a racing donkey. The turtle wins the race because it is not dreaming, it advances with a quiet and constant step.
