Another kind of antiquated social dance, like a minuet, but more alegre. The image of curtains swaying in the breeze brought to mind the odd mixture of restraint, elegance, and still having fun of old timie social dances.

 

I think the question that really needs to be asked here is what kind of curtains? Is it a portiere? Does it have swags? Perhaps some nice pommels?
