Removing tackiness from spray-painted vinyl cover

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by OurJud, Feb 17, 2018.

Long shot, but I made a notebook a couple of days ago. The vinyl stuff I had for the cover was red, so I spray-painted it with some cheap automotive spray paint designed for allow wheels, The finish is fine, and although dry to the touch, there's a stickiness which shows no sign of going away.

Any crafties out there who know a way to get rid of this tackiness?

Won't that just be more of the same?

I think the problem is the surface I'm spraying.

Anyway, talc seems to have done the job.
