Reduced Circumstances, the second in the Frank Cole mystery series, finds Frank working a second job as the night dispatcher for the Midnight Taxi Service. A runaway hitches a ride in a Midnight cab near the site of a police drug bust, and the very next night some dangerous people come looking for him.
