I'm 30 years old. And I still don't know how to write a brief biography about myself. I could invent one but that kind of defeats the purpose. In reality, it's hard to write one of these because I'm biased. I like me. I mean, I'm not always my biggest fan but I'm still showing up to the games... I could write a section and tell you all my "truths", all the things about me that *I* believe but even I couldn't guarantee that they'd withstand a background check. There's only a handful of things that I can say for certain are true enough to be posted in a biagraphy, website 'about me' section or otherwise: I'm black (African-American or whathaveyou); I'm a gay male; I love science fiction and fantasy. Those 3 things have been constant in a continually twirling tornado of tastes, styles, likes and dislikes and the like. Also, I want to write. That's always been another constant, I suppose. I have nothing more than half-hearted stories and rows upon rows of mental file cabinets, crammed with ideas and characters and the random phrase or dialogue but it's the first thing I've encountered in all my 30 years that makes vividly clear the meaning of the word 'passion'.

Video games, fruit punch, fantasy, technology, wit and sarcasm, a higher 'higher education'
